Dementia Homecare: Help at Home
Meal preparation
We can enable the individuals that we support to continue to prepare their own meals, or instead they can put their feet up and allow our carers to prepare a delicious, home cooked, nutritious meal. Our staff will not rush but will sit and chat to individuals whilst they eat their meals, offering support and encouragement if needed.
Housekeeping
We can complete household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping, but we may also pass around the duster and get someone joining in if it has always been something they enjoy doing.
We also offer help with:
- Planning and going shopping
- Collection of prescriptions
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry and ironing
- Making/ Changing beds
- Organising
- Checking food expiry dates
- Supervision of home maintenance
- Overseeing home deliveries
- Pet care and dog walking
