What an end to 2019. Throughout 2019 we have supported people living with dementia to live happy and active lives, spending their time participating in activities that are meaningful and purposeful for them. At Over the Rainbow we care for the person as an individual, not their diagnosis. On 22nd November we were finalists at the prestigious Great British Care Awards and on the night we were awarded the Dementia Carer Award for the whole of Yorkshire and Humberside! This automatically put us through to the national finals in March 2020. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support this year, our wonderful kind team and our amazing club members. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
